Cabo San Lucas Culture
|
Los Cabos is home to luxury hotel and resort
chains, beautiful beaches, and world-class golf courses. It
has become a favorite of wealthy tourists and does not cater
to many budget tourists.
Today it has a population of around 100,000 including foreigners
who have bought (often extravagant and beautiful) vacation
homes in there area. Since there are so many tourists and
long-term visitors here,
|
locals generally understand that tourists help out their local economy
and they try to make your stay a pleasant one.

Cabo San Lucas Shopping
|
The downtown area in San Jose
del Cabo is a calm and attractive area where old buildings have
been converted into trendy shops and restaurants. This is a
great place to take in some window shopping. But, there are
no shortage of places to shop in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose
del Cabo from specialty shops to markets and malls (Puerto
Paraiso Mall
and Plaza del Mar). Some fun specialty shops include Cabo Hats
where you can pick up a handmade hat |
and Chicas Sin Limites, or Girls Without Limits, where you can
design a swimsuit just for you by choosing the fabric and
the design.
