Developed as an extension of Philadelphia during the late 19th century, Atlantic City is now well known by international vacationers. It has become the second city that never sleeps, after Las Vegas. With lines of casinos, amusement parks and scores of entertainment venues, the city is always alive with its party atmosphere. At all hours you can take in a casino show, go bowling or enjoy live music at the Hard Rock Café, Atlantic City Bar & Grill or the Flying Cloud.
