  • City of Toronto - Official site of the city of Toronto. Includes information on attractions, facilities, transportation, events and emergency services.
  • Licensingoffice.com - Posts the latest news about licensing rules and regulations and driving test requirements, along with tips for selling vehicles and insurance information.
  • Mayor David Miller - Provides information about the mayor. Includes profile, inaugural speech, and contact information.
  • Toronto Police Service - Official Toronto Police web site. One of Canada's largest police agencies.
Education
  • Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine - A private, non-profit college offering a four-year, full-time professional program in naturopathic medicine. Operates a teaching clinic named the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic.
  • Herzing Colleges - Electronics, networking, computer systems, automatic office administration, and legal and medical secretarial/assisting programs. Also offers prep for certification exams such as Microsoft Certified System Engineer.
  • The Ontario College of Art and Design - OCAD - One of four accredited, independent, art and design universities in Canada, and the largest devoted exclusively to education of professional artists and designers.
  • Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts - School for dancing, singing, and acting to help build stronger triple threat performers for Canada's theatre industry.

Society and Culture
  • Avondale Community Discussion Forums - Bulletin board for residents of the townhouse and condominium community of Avondale at the South-East corner of Yonge and Avondale.
  • Centennial Community and Recreation Association - Local community news and information from the south-east Scarborough neighbourhood of Toronto.
  • Community Crime Awareness Association - Not-for-profit volunteer organization formed by members of the Greater Toronto Area Chinese community dedicated to promoting crime awareness and crime prevention.
  • Neighbourhood Information Post (NIP) - Non-profit community help centre providing information, assistance and support to all persons in order to improve the quality of individual and community life.
  • On The Lakeshore - Focus on the people, places and businesses located on the Lakeshore including Humber Bay, Mimico, Lakeshore Village, New Toronto and Long Branch.
  • Psychic Society of Toronto - A non-profit organization, providing a series of free lectures on paranormal, spiritual, metaphysical topics. Meetings are held Mondays at 8:00 p.m., holidays excepted.
  • Simple Canada - Offers assistance to newcomers to the Toronto area with locating housing, work, immigration support and related services.
  • Volunteer Centre for Toronto - The prime resource in the community for the recruitment and referral of individuals and training in all areas of volunteer management.
  • West Hill - Community's history is explored and links are provided to community resources, recreation, entertainment, services and business.
  • West Toronto Support Service - Provides practical assistance and social support to seniors, caregivers and adults with disabilities. Lists their services and information about volunteer opportunities.
Museums
  • The Bata Shoe Museum - Presents over 10,000 pairs of shoes from around the world and from the beginning of civilization. Samples from the collection are shown along with museum location, membership and tour information.
  • Jewish Canadian Military Museum - The history of the Jews in the Canadian military and of their exploits and experiences dispels the myth that Jews have not contributed their share in the Canadian Armed Forces.
  • MZTV Museum of Television / MZTV Musée de la Télévision - The MZTV exists in several dimensions - as a physical museum in the CHUMCity complex in Toronto; as an exhibition "Watching TV: Historic Televisions and Memorabilia from the MZTV Museum"; and as an e-museum on this WEB site.
  • Royal Ontario Museum - The ROM boasts state-of-the-art galleries and is renowned for loaning artifacts to other museums; aiding visiting scholars; hosting over a hundred thousand young students annually; aiding governmental and legal bodies and other institutions with expert opinion.
