Getting Around St. Augustine

Getting around St. Augustine’s historic district is a piece of cake. You can make your way on foot or hop on one of the many tourist trains, trolleys, or buses in route around St. Augustine. Horse draw carriages await your arrival on Avenida Menedez ($20 adults, $10 children). Solana Cycle located on 61 San Marco Avenue offers bicycle and moped rentals.

Taxis provide a quick trip from the historic district to the beach. The Yellow Cab Company (ph. 904-824-6888) services the area.

If you’re looking to explore the outskirts of St. Augustine, such as the outlet malls, your best bet is to rent a car. Most of the major car rental companies have offices in St. Augustine.
