Getting Around Sedona
Like most places in the West, you need a car in Sedona. There is
a shuttle there from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix – a fair
option at $35 one way ($60 round trip). But in Sedona the only alternative
to a car is a costly tourist Trolley that is available as a taxi
or bus service, by special arrangement. But there are lots of car
rental agencies in town.
On the other hand, mountain biking is a wonderful activity here
if you’re so inclined. Bike rentals are easy to procure and
there are lots of trails into the mountains, spanning different
degrees of difficulty.
