Venice Weather

Like most parts of Italy, Venice has a high and low season, as determined by the weather. If possible, visit Venice during the spring and summer months, especially from April to October. During this time, the climate is ideal for comfortably taking in the city. However, even during the summertime, the temperatures drop during the evening, so if you plan on exploring the city at night, be sure to bring a sweater or light jacket. November to March marks the colder season, and there are far fewer tourists roaming the streets. If you choose to visit during these months, keep in mind that certain attractions may have shorter hours.
