Singapore Weather
If you're looking for a hot, humid destination to escape to, you'll be happy
to know that the lowest temperature ever recorded in Singapore was
19.4C degrees (and that was on January 31, 1934). Generally speaking,
the country has two main seasons: the Northeast Monsoon from December
to March and the Southwest Monsoon from May to September. But the
beginning and end of the monsoons are usually not very well defined,
which is why many often argue that Singapore actually has no distinct
seasons. Not true, says Singapore's National Environmental Agency,
which points to monthly rainfalls that show May through July experience
slightly drier conditions, while November to January (and often
February) experience wetter conditions. The truth is, you'll be
warn whenever you go to this tropical hot spot—just pack a
few extra dollars for an umbrella to guard you from the frequent
afternoon and early evening thunderstorms.
