San Francisco Weather
The only prediction one can make about San Francisco weather is
that it’s unpredictable. While sources cite that typical temperatures
range from 40 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit, there are many sunny days
throughout the year that top 80 degrees. The climate is classified
as temperate marine.
Known for its foggy weather, the city is often engulfed in fog
during most days June-August. The warmest months tend to be September
and October, while May through September is the driest. The key
to being comfortable while visiting San Francisco is to dress in
layers. Bring along a light jacket or a sweater when you venture
out. You can always tie either around your waist or throw it in
your backpack once the fog lifts and the sun starts shining.
