San Diego Weather
San Diego is known as “America’s Finest City,” and that
is mainly due to the weather. This city has some of the most pleasant
temperatures year round, quite possibly the best weather in the
world. San Diego is often considered an escape for those living
in areas with sub-zero winters or extremely hot summers.
During December through March, the average rainfall is 1.4 to 1.9
inches with 5 to 7 rainy days per month. The average temperature
ranges from a high of 66 to a low of 50 degrees F. Daytime highs
of 75 to 80 degrees are not uncommon. The beach is very inviting
but the water is still cold — 60 degrees (F) or less. Near
the end of March, warm weather is more common. During the rest of
the year, average temperatures fall around 70-75 degrees. You’ll
find surfers in the ocean, sunbathers on the sand and bikers all
around with such a moderate climate.
