Prague Weather

The Czech Republic has a mild climate with warm summers and cold winters. The ideal time to visit is early summer, late spring. The weather at this time is pretty ideal for tourists (not too hot) and not too crowded with backpackers on summer vacation.

The average temperature in summer is 74 degrees Fahrenheit, but at night it can fall to 46 degrees. In wintertime, the daily temperature averages around freezing point and falls to 26 degrees Fahrenheit at night. January and February are the coldest months when the daily temperature is around 23.

Spring and summer are the warmest and sunniest, but the period between May and August is also the wettest. Snow is rare.
