New York City Weather

Typical in the northeast United States, New York has four distinct seasons. And as with most other northeast cities, the spring and fall seasons offer the nicest weather. Highs during the summer months are typically in the 80s, with wintertime highs only reaching into the 30’s. However, there are other things, besides temperatures, that need to be taken into consideration when planning a trip to New York City. During the summer, the concrete throughout the city heats up making it feel even hotter. And for whatever reason, the streets smell worse during the summer. When it snows in the winter, there is really no place that’s out of the way where you can push the snow. Consequently, the streets and sidewalks become a slushy mess. Spring and fall is without a doubt the best time to visit. However, you won’t find any deals on hotels during these months.
