Madrid Weather
The seasons in Madrid run as follows: Winter- December to middle
of March: Winters in Madrid are cold, but dry. While it snows in
the center of the city, it usually does not accumulate. At night,
temperatures drop very low, so it is important to book hotel rooms
with heat, as many hotels and homes do not have adequate heating
systems. Summer-June through August: Although low in humidity, Summers
in Madrid are extremely hot. June is the more pleasant of the three
months, as the heat is not as bad and the weather is more tolerable.
July and August are very hot with temperatures sometimes reaching
over 100 Fahrenheit. Additionally, July and August see very heavy
tourist flows, and night temperatures are not much cooler than day.
Spring-Middle of March through May & Fall-September through
November: Weather wise, Spring and Fall are the ideal times to visit
Madrid. Both offer very pleasant temperatures and a decline in tourists,
making travel to the city an extra enjoyable experience.
