Fiji Weather
Fiji's climate can be enjoyed all year round. The period between May and October
is generally a little cooler, but not cold enough to bring your
ski and winter jackets to the paradise. Fiji enjoys an ideal South
Seas tropical climate. This is why many people arrive to the country,
because it is a perfect holiday destination for those that are trying
to escape the winter weather blues. There are two main seasons -
summer (November - April) and Winter (May - November). Maximum summer
temperatures average 30 degrees Celsius (86°F) and the mean
minimum is 23°C (73°F). There is more rainfall in the summer
months, and it is hotter and more humid at this time of year. The
winter average maximum is 26°C (79°F) and the mean minimum
is 20°C (68°F). It is drier and cooler in the winter months
and especially suited to those who are not comfortable with hot
humid conditions. In the evenings, a light sweater may even be necessary.
