The Drug Opera, located a couple blocks away from the Grand Place in Brussels, is a popular stop for tourists. This restaurant serves up some tasty dishes without being too expensive. There is a nice little bar if you’re looking to relax after a long day of sight seeing. Even though the staff is very welcoming of tourists, few speak English. Regardless, they will do there best to understand you. Don’t be surprised if you order lasagna and get a pizza instead.

Visited drug opera while in belgium a few weeks ago. food was average but good value, however the sheer rudeness of the staff was shocking. in addition we discovered no less than 3 mice scurrying about our feet as we ate, when we informed the waitor, he laughed at us. needless to say we left no tip.
