Shopping in Berlin is worth the
trip. European goods are a great buy here and the quality of
clothing will feel like snowflakes on your skin, cool and light.
The best shopping areas in Berlin are Ku’damm. Ku’damm
is the Fifth Avenue of Berlin, where you can find quality stores
as well as outlets for all your shopping needs. Cheap souvenirs
and T-shirts are a great buy here. Most stores in Berlin are
open Monday to Friday 9 or 10am to 6 or 6:30pm. Many stay open
late on |
Thursday evenings, often to 8:30pm. Saturday hours are usually
9 or 10am to 2pm. Some things to look for are clothing, ceramic
sculptures, and one of a kind wooden toys. Other great places to
shop are, Scheuenviertel, Tacheles, and Johanna Petzoldt.
