Alaska Weather

Alaska is well known for its beautiful white winter wonderlands, but you would be surprised to know that Alaska’s summers are quite comfortable with temperatures being pleasant and sunny. Periods between May and early September are known to have the best combination of long days, clear skies and warm afternoons. Summers in Alaska aren’t to warm, temperatures range from the low 60s to the low 70s. If you plan on arriving to Alaska in the winter be prepared and bring some warm clothing since you will be drinking hot cocoa in -20 to -30 degree weather in Alaska. During the winter months in Alaska you can expect lots of rainfall and lots of snow, so make sure you plan wisely before arriving and bring lots of hot chocolate to warm you up!
