The UAF Museum is the best natural history museum in Alaska. Well
known for it’s Blue Babe collection, a mummified steppe bison,
the 5, 400- pound copper nugget will leave you saying WOW! Enjoy
the walk through the museum with an audio tour or take a 20 min
lecture by the museums experts, which ever way you decide to tour
the museum the exhibits will keep you interested and wanting to
learn more. The museum is filled with beautiful and captivating
art images of icebergs and the Northern Lights. With a combination
of sound, crafts, and interactive exhibits the UAF is an affordable
way to spend the day.
